St. Mary’s Catholic School welcomes families and community members to share their knowledge and strengths in creating a unique, positive, and hands-on learning environment.

We believe that our students’ parents and family members are integral partners in our students’ education–parents are the primary educators. Because of this, we ask that each family volunteer a number of hours per year to help demonstrate and enforce the importance of our children’s education.

If you should choose to volunteer at St. Mary’s Catholic School, please know that volunteers are required to pass a federal level background check, take and pass the Safe Environment Course as sanctioned by the Archdiocese of Anchorage, and be under direct supervision of St. Mary’s School staff. This is to ensure the safety of our students and staff. For more information on the Safe Environment Course, please click the link here.
